I know that everywhere you look all you see is negative comments on the economy and doom and gloom about jobs and housing. Well I think that things have turned a corner and are starting to pick up. Why so you may ask? I believe so because my business started slowing 6 months before the whole credit crunch thing came to the fore and now I am seeing business pick up. Not just locally in Ireland but across all our locations our pipeline hasn’t been so strong in years. I am therefore predicting that things have turned the corner and 2009 will be a good one after all.

Forget the gloom and focus on the boom.

hhhmmm I am trying to convince myself that Twitter is a useful app. I’m not really sure it is but I am going to try and get into it over the coming weeks in order to see what all the fuss is about.

Have people in Ireland rejected the Lisbon Treaty because of the Eurovision Song contest?

I mean that since we enlarged the Eurovision it has gone from being a song contest into being something where neighbours vote for each other. To a lot of people this means that we will never win it again. If this model is applied to a larger EU then Ireland will be in big trouble, is this why people voted NO?
